Evelia Bertha (Baeza) Montoya

Evelia Bertha Baeza de Montoya was called home by our Lord on February 08, 2021.

Born in Janos, Chihuahua, Mexico on February 27, 1929 to Eluterio Leonardo Baeza and Maria Luisa Fernandez de Baeza. On April 12, 1947 she married Jesus Montoya.

She is survived by her daughter, Margarita Wilmott (R. Michael), and son, Ignacio A. Montoya (Teresa). Grandsons: R. Derek Wilmott (Robin), Jeffrey J. Wilmott (Mandie), Andrew Wilmott (Nancy), Ignacio Montoya, Marco A. Montoya, Arturo Montoya (Stacy), Alberto Montoya (Bianka), Alexander Montoya, and Allen Montoya. Nine great-grandchildren and two great-great granddaughters and numerous nephews and nieces.  

Those who went before her were husband, Jesus; parents, Eluterio and Maria Luisa Baeza; sons, Agustin, Alfredo, Miguel and Alberto Montoya and her brother, Gilberto Baeza.    

Cremation has been entrusted to Baca’s Mimbres Crematory. Graveside services will be on February 19, 2021 at 2 pm at Mountain View Cemetery. Fr. Jesus Martinez will officiate.
