Felix F. Lucero, 84, of Gila, passed away June 17, 2020 in Las Cruces, NM.
It is with sad hearts we say goodbye to our Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather Mr. Felix F. Lucero. Felix was born March 7, 1936, in Bernalillo, NM, to Marcos and Maria Lucero. His growing years were in Cottonwood, AZ. Felix joined the Army in 1956 and was in the Airborne Division stationed in Germany. He served his country honorably and was discharged in 1959. Felix married his wife Carol in 1960, they moved to Douglas, AZ, in 1961, where he worked as a service tech with Sears for over 20 years. He retired to Gila in 1990.
Felix is survived by his wife of 60 years Carol; sons, Mark (Lisa), Greg (Lily), Rick (Sandi), Dan (Lizette), and the youngest Chris; ten grandchildren, Steven (Misty), Adriana (Marco), Lauren, Ian Andre (Kayla), Rikki (Michael), Brandi, Daniella, Nick, and Emma; great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Skyler, Makayla, Andrea, Esabella, and Alyzza; brothers, Richard (Maggie), Antonio (Shelly), and Jesus (Mary); sisters, Olympia (John), Olga, Rita (Diane), Martina, Mary, Irene, and Delfina (Tony); sister in law, Teresa Lucero. He is preceded in death by his father, Marcos, mother, Maria, brothers, Marcos, Ralphi, Robert, Ramon, and Juan; sisters, Elvira and Molly.
At the family’s request, cremation has been entrusted to Baca’s Funeral Chapels.
