Frank Carter II, 62, resident of Deming passed away Monday, January 10, 2022 at 2:15 in the morning in his family store that he held near and dear to his heart on Gold Street.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 12 o’clock noon at Masonic Cemetery in Las Cruces.
Frank was born in Brooklyn, New York on March 3rd, 1959, to Frank and Lillian (Sellgren) Carter. He lived his life in various cities across Virginia, Ohio, and New Mexico. His passion was collecting miscellaneous items from the past and present. He loved to bring kids joy with new toys and bring out the kid in everyone with old toys. Frank spent most of his days as a practicing cinephile, always eager to expand his mental movie library. Frank Carter was loved dearly by his family and members of his Deming and Virginia Beach communities and will be missed greatly.
Frank is survived by his partner, Nancy Ellen Holtz; his 3 children, Raven, Phoenix and Wakinyan Tanka; a nephew, Anthony, and his cousin, Catherine Beatty.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Lillian Carter; his older sister, Jean Divine Carter, and his younger brother, Thomas Carter.
