George Frederick Tobin Jr.

George Frederick Tobin Jr., 75, Deming resident passed away Thursday, October 3, 2024 at his home.

Services will take place Friday, November 22, 2024 at 1 o’clock in the afternoon at Ft. Bayard National Cemetery.

George was born to Doris M. Saul and George Frederick Tobin Sr. on December 24, 1948 at Norristown, Pennsylvania. He was drafted into the U.S Army for 2 years and served in Vietnam; after serving his country, George was a long-time gifted carpenter. He married Anna E. Hampton on November 15, 1998 in Deming, NM. 

He is survived by his sister, Emma Jean Fern from Pennsylvania; his stepson, John Hampton and preceded in death by his parents, his precious wife Anna, siblings, Danny, James and Christina.
