Georgia D. (Martin) Reyes

Georgia D. Reyes, 67, formerly a resident of Columbus entered eternal rest Sunday August 18, 2019 at Cornerstone Hospital in Tucson, AZ.

Visitation will be Friday August 23, 2019 beginning at 4 o'clock in the afternoon at the family home in Columbus. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be recited at the home as well. The Funeral Service will be celebrated Saturday August 24, 2019 at 10 o'clock in the morning at Holy Family Mission Catholic Church. Concluding services and interment will follow at Valley Heights Cemetery in Columbus. Deacon Dan Pena will officiate.

Georgia was born March 1, 1952 to Margarita Garcia and Chester C. Martin in Guadalupita, New Mexico. Georgia was a communicant of the Catholic Church. 

She is survived by her husband, Ricardo Reyes of the home; 6 sons, Agustin Mares, Anthony Mares, Javier Reyes, Gustavo Reyes, Francisco Reyes and Ricardo Reyes; 4 daughters, Antonia Reyes, Diana Reyes, Judy Padilla and Stephanie Reyes; 5 brothers, Fritz, Tim, Ryan, Ronnie and Robert; sister, Linda Trujillo; 41 grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are her parents; daughter, Rosemary Mares; sister, Betty Francia; grandchildren, Elijah Archuleta and Martin Orozco.

Serving as pallbearers will be Joel Jimenez, Antonio Padilla, Jorge and Felipe Reyes, Juan Carlos and Daniel Mares.
