Hermelinda Saenz Ramirez

Hermelinda Saenz Ramirez, 85, longtime Deming resident passed away Sunday, September 22, 2024 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 9, 1939 in Colonia Cuauhtemoc, Chihuahua to Marcelo Saenz and Virginia Gonzalez.

Visitation will begin Tuesday, October 1, 2024 from 10 to 11 o’clock in the morning at Baca’s Funeral Chapel with the funeral services to follow. The final interment will take place at Mountain View Cemetery. Pablo and Jacob Ledesma will be officiating.

Hermelinda is survived by her daughter, Marisela McClendon; 2 sisters, Socorro Esparza, and Rafaela Apodoca; 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcelo, and Virginia Saenz; her spouse, Manuel Tafoya Ramirez; a son, Manuel Ramirez and 6 other siblings.

Serving as pallbearers will be Victor Manuel Lopez, Pablo R. Lopez, Tom McClendon, Carlos Padilla, Gerardo Ruiz, and Omar Avila. Honorary bearers will serve as Tate Leon Padilla and Asher Suede Padilla.
