Imelda Porras, 69, Deming resident passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023 at El Paso Hospice in El Paso, Texas.
Imelda will be transported to La Colonia Guadalupe Victoria, Tuesday May 9, 2023 where she will be laid to rest at The Cementerio Municipal as per her wishes.
Imelda was born May 6, 1954 in Ascension, Chihuahua, Mexico to Rosa Rodriguez and Angel Barraza. She loved to spend time with her family and friends, watch her novelas and go visit her hometown. Imelda had a love for plants and had many through-out her home.
She is survived by her sons, Juan (Carolina) Barraza and Raul (Francelia) Porras; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. As well as her siblings, nieces, nephews, and many extended family and friends.
Imelda is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jose Porras and her son, Javier Porras.
