James Andrew (Bond) Hukill

James Andrew Bond Hukill, 56, of Silver City, New Mexico, passed away on June 2, 2026.  Born on November 21, 1969, in Canton, Illinois.  James was a man of quiet strength and steady hands who built a life defined by hard work and dedication to his craft as a welder. He had a kind heart and he will be truly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

James is survived by his loving mother, Mary Katherine Hukill. Daughters, Jordan Hukill and Karli Carlyle McCree; brothers, Adam, Andrew, David; sister, Andrea; step sisters, Mary Dutra, Lisa Ferguson and 6 grandchildren. 

James is proceeded in death by his father Norman Hukill; Aunts, Pat Williams and Marge Horvath.
