James Clyde Stauder

James Clyde Stauder, 80, of Tyrone passed away Monday, September 8, 2025. Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Baca’s Funeral Chapels.

James was born March 12, 1945 in Socorro, NM to Helen G. Stauder and Clyde E. Stauder Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara; three sons, Brent (Carol), James (Amber), and Sherwood Paul Stauder; three daughters, Kimberly Stauder, LaDawn Hawkins (Jay) and Colleen Sudgen (Robert); his brother, Sherwood Stauder; many nieces and nephews.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Clyde Stauder Jr; sister-in-law, Roberta Stauder; and close family friend, Cruz Aguilera.

James was a proud veteran of the United States Army.

Inurnment with full military honors will take place at one o’clock in the afternoon on Friday, September 26, 2025 at Fort Bayard National Cemetery.
