Jesse Elizabeth (Dorman) Richardson

Jesse Elizabeth (Betty) Richardson, 76, of Deming, NM went home to our Lord and Savior on Monday, April 29, 2024. She was born in Roscoe, Texas on December 11, 1947.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 10 o’clock in the morning at Bethel Baptist Church. Pastor Mason Davis will officiate. Cremation has been entrusted to Baca’s Mimbres Crematory.

Betty was a devoted wife and loving mother. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was a gifted artist and enjoyed making quilts and sewing. Her happy place was sewing children’s dresses with her church family.

She leaves behind her beloved husband of 59 years, James David Richardson; her baby brother, Samuel Dorman (Debbie); daughters, Wendi (Chris) Cleland and Sandi (Bret) Jackson; seven (7) grandchildren and nine (9) great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Daddy (Marvin Dorman), Mother (Evelyn Davison) and stepdad (Eugene Davison).

She was so incredibly loved and will be so greatly missed!

The family requests that in lieu of flowers a donation be made to Betty’s favorite charity, Samaritan’s Purse.
