Joe Davila Arzaga

Joe D. Arzaga, 75, of Silver City, NM passed away October 10, 2020 in Las Cruces, NM.

Cremation has been entrusted to Baca’s Funeral Chapels in Silver City.  A graveside funeral service and inurnment of his ashes will be held Friday, October 16, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Pinos Altos Cemetery with Father Oliver Obele officiating.

Joe was born November 22, 1944 in Silver City, NM to Francisco and Clara Arzaga. Joe served our country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Joe was also a store clerk for the Benny Market Basket for twenty years. He also enjoyed the outdoors along with hunting and fishing.

Joe is survived by three sisters; Irene Valenzuela of Deming, NM, Alicia Cardoza of Silver City, NM, Olga Fletcher of Silver City NM; and three brothers; Gabriel Arzaga and Albino Arzaga of Silver City, NM, and Ramon Arzaga. Joe was also survived by several nieces and nephews. Joe was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Ramona Morales; one brother, Frank Arzaga; one nephew, Lawrence Atencio and a niece, Debbie Britton.
