Johnny G. Sosaya

Johnny G. Sosaya, 76, of Santa Clara, NM passed away in Las Cruces, NM on March 4, 2026.

He was born on March 7, 1949 to Nellie Garcia and Fabian in San Jose, California.  Johnny was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and was happy to share the truth with everyone. He loved to fish and hunt with family and friends. 

Johnny leaves behind his wife of 56 years, Lucille H. Sosaya and three children; Johnny (Roxanna) Sosaya of Tucson, AZ, Amanda (Samuel) Hernandez of Santa Clara, NM, and Christie (Jacob) Villegas of Sahuarita, AZ as well as seven grandchildren, Valerie, Idaliss, Yesenia, and Samuel Hernandez, Zachary and Jeremy Sosaya, and Riley Villegas.  He also leaves behind two brothers, Robert (Patsy) Sosaya, Richard Sosaya, two sisters, Patty (Jesus) Smith, Rosie Sosaya and many nieces and nephews.  He was proceeded in death by his parents, Nellie and Fabian; and three brothers, Mario, Mariano, Alex. 

Memorial Services will be held at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2415 Pinos Altos Rd, Silver City NM on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 2 pm.
