Jose Manuel Porras, 70, longtime Deming resident entered eternal rest Friday May 1, 2020 at Mimbres Memorial Hospital.
A service will take place at the Colonia Victoria in Mexico.
Jose was born May 19, 1949 to Rutila Rosas and Juan Porras in Puebla, Mexico. He worked most of his life in the agriculture and was a communicant of the Catholic Church. Jose was a very happy person, had a great sense of humor, always joking and had a strong work ethic.
He is survived by his loving wife, Imelda Porras of the home; mother, Rutila Rosas of Puebla, MX; 2 sons, Juan Barraza and his wife Carolina of Deming, Raul Porras and his wife Francelia of Juarez; 7 grandchildren, extended family and friends.
Preceded in death by his father, Juan Porras and son, Javier Porras.
