Jose Angel Lozano

Jose Angel Lozano Gonzalez, 78, Deming resident passed away on Thursday July 9, 2020 at Mimbres Memorial Hospital.

A wake will take place Saturday July 11, 2020 at the family home in the Colonia Guadalupe Victoria beginning at 12 o’clock in the afternoon. Mass of the Christian Burial will be Sunday July 12, 2020 at 5 o’clock in the afternoon at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.  Concluding services and interment will follow at the Cementerio Municipal. 

Jose Angel was born September 16, 1941 to Albina Gonzalez and German Lozano in Meoqui, Chihuahua, Mexico. He loved spending time with his family which was his first priority. Jose Angel loved to sing specially to the love of his life, his wife Hilda. He was a communicant of the Catholic church. Jose Angel will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Hilda Garcia de Lozano of the home; his son, Santiago (Mary) Lozano of Deming; daughters, Petra (Agustin) Ibarra of Colonia Guadalupe Victoria, Guadalupe (Ramiro) Teran of Guerrero, Chihuahua, Norma Lozano of Deming, Graciela (Osvaldo) Porras and Irma (German) Duran of Phoenix, Olivia Lozano of Deming; brothers, Monzerrat (Concepcion) Lozano of Mexico and Jesus Jose (Rosa) Lozano of Deming; sisters, Rosario Rincon of Mexico and Mercedes (Francisco) Saenz of Deming, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents German Lozano and Albina Gonzalez; siblings, Baltazar, Socorro & Maria who passed away hours before he did.
