Obituary

JOSE TRINIDAD SIORDIA MAGALLON, 44, resident of Hatch passed away Wednesday June 8, 2022 at Mt. View Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces. 

Visitation will begin Wednesday afternoon, June 15, 2022 from 1:30 to 3:30 at Our Lord of Mercy Catholic Church in Hatch. A rosary will begin at 3:30 followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 4 o'clock with Fr. Ivan Torres, Pastor officiating.  Cremation will follow at Baca’s Mimbres Crematory.

Jose was born April 4, 1978 in Chaparral, Jalisco, Mexico to Jose Trinidad and Maria (Magallan) Siordia.  He has been a resident of Hatch for 6 years having previously lived in California.  He was a member of the Catholic Church and was an agricultural laborer working on several farms in the Hatch area.

He is survived by his mother, Maria Magallon; companion Sara Oliveros; sons Brayan and Alexis Siordia of Hatch; daughters, Maite, Ximena, Guadalupe, Alondra and Maria Siordia all of Hatch; 4 brothers and 3 grandchildren.
