Joseph Michael Sifuentes

Joseph Michael Sifuentes, 47, of Hanover, N.M., entered eternal life on Sunday, January 29th 2023. 

Joseph was a one-of-a-kind person. Prayer was important in his life and he had a special relationship with the Lord, which he shared with numerous people he encountered. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, his children and the rest of his family. One of his favorite times was having coffee in the morning on the porch with his Mom. His laughter was contagious and will never be forgotten. He was a loving friend to those who knew him. He will be greatly missed by everyone. 

He is survived by his parents, Raymundo and Gloria Ortiz, and Jose L. Sifuentes. His children Alyssa J. Sifuentes, Isaiah J. Sifuentes, Savannah L. Padilla, Christa Linda Sifuentes and Destiny T. Huerta; his eight beautiful grandchildren; his sisters, Amanda Cuhen and Myra Madrid, as well as numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.

A Funeral Service will take place at one o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Baca’s Funeral Chapel in Silver City. Concluding Services and Interment will follow at the Santa Clara Cemetery in Santa Clara, NM. Officiating is Pastor Andrew Zamora.

Serving as Pallbearers are Eddie Cuhen Jr., Victor “Bear” Valdez, Stephen Estrada, Ernie “Columbo” Cuhen, Roland Madrid, and Daniel Reyes.

Honorary Pallbearers are Otto Rosati, Anthony Cuhen, Izrael Cuhen, Champie Echeribel, David Jaurequi, Bodie Valles, Roxanne Abeyta, Robert Rodriguez, and all his other family members and friends he cared about.
