Lola Mae (Eaves) Johnson

Lola Mae Johnson, 87, passed away Sunday January 13, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Inurnment will be held Saturday January 19, 2019 at 11 o’clock in the morning at Mountain View Cemetery.

Lola Mae was born June 20, 1931 in Santa Rita, New Mexico to Alva and Gladys Eaves. She lived many years in Deming and most recently in Las Cruces.

She is survived by 2 sons, Alan (Carol) Davis of Lordsburg, NM and Sam (Emma) Johnson of Las Cruces, NM; step-daughter, Bobby Jean Paton.  She leaves 5 grandchildren, Tammi (Paul) Kenny, Deanna (Ted) Williams, Jonathan (Trish) Davis, Levi (Sayra) Davis, Benjamin (Jessica) Davis; 3 great-grandchildren, Alex Davis, Kathynn Davis and Justin Davis.  Lola is also survived by 2 brothers, Dale (Ruth) Eaves and Kenneth (Lynn) Eaves.

Lola Mae was preceded in death by husband, Howard Johnson; sister, Lois Garret; daughter, Carol Thorpe; great-grandson, Zachery Davis and step-son, James Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, the family of Lola Mae Johnson asks that donations be made to the Deming Animal Shelter.
