Luis Arturo Alarcon, 31, longtime Deming resident passed away Wednesday February 17, 2021 in Albuquerque.
Visitation will begin at 9 o’clock Thursday morning, February 25, 2021 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Recitation of the holy rosary will be recited at 10 o’clock by Irma Jaurequi. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 with the rite of committal and interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Fr. Tom Smith will officiate. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, 25% of the capacity of the church will be allowed, must wear a mask and social distancing will apply.
Luis Arturo was born December 20, 1989 in Denver, Colorado to Maria Elena Pando and Rodolfo Alarcon. He was a communicant of the Catholic Church and recently was employed in Albuquerque. Luis Arturo was a very hardworking person, working in the farming industry and was a man of all trades. His one passion was tractors, he had a great love for his family and was a great father to his children.
He is survived by his parents, Rodolfo and Maria Elena Alarcon of the home; wife, Reyna Alarcon of Farmington; 2 sons, Kevin Alarcon of Deming, Luis Arturo Alarcon Jr. of Farmington; 2 daughters, Yaritza and Kenya Alarcon both of Deming; brother, Rodolfo Alarcon Jr. his wife Deida of Mexico; mother of his 2 daughters, Breeze Adame of Deming; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Serving as pallbearers are Osvaldo Garcia, Roberto Molina, Manuel Ortega, Marcos Arciniega, Guadalupe Venzor and Ricardo Solis.
