Luz Gonzalez Teran

The sun has set for Luz Gonzalez Teran on Friday April 14, 2023 in Tucson, AZ.  She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.

Luz was survived by her son, Ray Teran (Nancy), her daughters Rosemary Teran and Sylvia Loughery (George), five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, as well as many loving family members.  She was preceded in death by her parents, many of her siblings, and her husband, Reynaldo.  As a military wife, Luz traveled the world with her husband and children. Luz and Reynaldo retired to Tucson, AZ. Luz enjoyed ceramics and sewing. More than anything she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Her final celebration will be in Santa Clara, NM on Friday May 26, 2023 where the Holy Rosary will be recited at twelve o’clock noon.  The Funeral Liturgy will follow immediately thereafter.  She will be laid to rest alongside her loving husband, Reynaldo, at Fort Bayard National Cemetery.
