Manuel Jesus Vargas, 65, of Deming passed away at his home on Friday, April 28, 2023. Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Baca's Funeral Chapels.
Final burial ceremony will take place in Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua, and Manuel will be laid to rest next to his parents Ramon and Librada Vargas.
Manuel’s love for music was contagious; everywhere he went he would light up the room with his smile. He enjoyed singing and playing a variety of instruments. Manuel was also a passionate writer; he was poetic and witty with words. He was also an activist for immigrants, and helped many during his lifetime. He will be remembered by those who loved him as a humble, honest, warm-hearted soul who went out of his way for others.
