Margaret Mae Ward went to be with our Lord Wednesday, December 4, 2024 in Arizona.
She was born April 3, 1931 in Hurley, NM to Orville ‘Cap’ and Dorothea Morgan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Ward and one granddaughter, Tammy Jo White.
She is survived by her daughter Doris (Tom) White of Wickenburg, AZ; one grandson, Troy White of Bagdad, AZ; great-grandchildren, Sadie and Drew Olbright of Prescott Valley, AZ; Kendric of Prescott Valley, AZ and Ella of Bagdad, AZ; one great-great grandson, Oshea Olbright of Prescott Valley, AZ; one brother, Monte of Tampa, FL; one sister, Marlene of Sweetwater, TX; many nieces and nephews, as she was from a large family of fourteen children. She was known as ‘Margie’ or ‘Auntie Bob’.
Margie enjoyed listening to country music, dancing, sewing and spending time outdoors. She loved to draw pictures of the outdoors, especially deer. One of her favorite pastimes was driving around Fort Bayard at night to see the deer. Margie also loved to hear her late husband play the guitar and sing.
A Memorial Service was held Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Baca’s Funeral Chapel in Silver City. Inurnment has taken place at Memory Lane Cemetery in Silver City.
