Martin "Coco" C. Facio

Martin “Coco” C. Facio, 63, Deming resident passed away Saturday, May 21, 2022 at his home.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 1 o’clock in the afternoon at Baca’s Funeral Chapel. His nephew, Antonio Guerrero will officiate. Cremation has been entrusted to Baca’s Mimbres Crematory.

Martin also known as to many “Coco” was born September 26, 1958 in Silver City to Martin A. Facio and Hortensia Candelaria. Martin was a monitor tech at Mimbres Memorial Hospital in Deming for many years assisting in the Intensive Care Unit. He loved his job and all who he had the pleasure to work with. He loved and cared for everyone in his life, so much that he always provided food for his work family. Martin enjoyed fishing and a nice cold beer. Martin had many loves in his life, including his children, siblings, family and especially his “girls” fur babies. He will always be remembered as an amazing father, brother and of course friend, he will be missed by all.

Survivors include his 2 children, Martin Facio of Tucson, AZ and Joyce Ericka Facio of Sierra Vista, AZ; 4 siblings, Ben (Maryanne) Facio of Oxford, FL, Gloria Gutierrez of Bayard, Mary Ann (Bill) Thomas of Shelton, WA and Yvonne (Loretta) Facio of Deming; 4 grandchildren and many numerous extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Hortensia Facio and a brother, Ruben Facio.
