Mary Lou Castro Obituary

Mary Lou Castro passed peacefully at home in New Mexico on 4/14/20 surrounded by her family.

Mary Lou was a strong woman that paved the way for many women after her in the Aerospace industry. Mary Lou was very active in her community, she mentored kids at risk for gang life and organized and collected toys for Christmas parties for under privileged kids in Silver City NM. She was a member of the Elks, American Legion, Woman of the Moose and the VFW. After she retired, she was hired on with Senator Lou Correa in California as she felt she still had more to offer. She never took anything unless she worked for it, She had a positive effect on many lives and held her hand out to anyone who needed it and all she wanted in return was a thank you. She was a person of faith and loved and was loved by her friends and family very much. Her friends and family were blessed to have her in their lives.

She was preceded in death by her mother Lucy Peralta son Eric Arzate and husband Arthur Castro. She is survived by her son Chris and his wife Jada Arzate and seven grandchildren, Nicholas his and fiancé Jennifer, Austen, Devon, Ryan, Nevaeh Arzate, Alexandro and Adan Arzate and one great granddaughter Delilah Arzate. Her brother Michael and Velma Peralta and niece and nephew Andrea and Joseph Peralta and their families. May she Rest In Peace our sweet Angel Mary Lou.
