Michal Gene Rudloff

MICHAL GENE RUDLOFF, 59, longtime resident of Deming passed away Monday January 30, 2023 at Mimbres Memorial Hospital.

Visitation will be Tuesday morning, February 7, 2023 from 9 to 11 at Baca’s Funeral Chapel where funeral services will begin at 11 Pastor George Gillespie and Pastor Leila Gomez officiating.  Concluding services and interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery.

Michal was born April 4, 1963 in Sturgis, Michigan to Charles Henry and Mary Magdalene Rudloff.  He came to Deming at an early age  and graduated from Deming High School in 1981.  He always had an interest in refurbishing houses and is remembered by his dedication to his work and willingness to help others in their time of need.  Mike worked with the City of Deming from 1990 to 2007 and most recently was Self Help/ Rehab Director working with Tierra Del Sol Housing Corporation where he had been from 2007 to 2019.  He was an avid fan of the Detroit Lions and locally the Deming Wildcats.  He also was on the board of the Community Action Agency serving from 2014 to present.

Michal is survived by his wife Elisa Rudloff of the home; son Orlando Martinez (Erika) of Vista, CA; daughter Felicia Longoria (Cristobal) of Deming; brothers William Denney (Kathy), Louis Ray Goff both of Indiana; sister Julia Rudloff of New Castle, Indiana; step brothers and sisters Tina (Roland) Chaffee, Debbie (Jim) Tinsley and Tracy Hull; 5 grandchildren, Estrella, Orlando, Elianah, Mercedes and Amadeus.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary, his stepmom Carol Rudloff, brother Steven Rudloff and sister Teresa Holmes.

Pallbearers will be Orlando Martinez, Orlando Martinez II, Cristobal Longoria, John Paul Pioquinto, Billy Almanza and Manny Ortiz.
