Michelle D. Arellano

Michelle D. Arellano, 57, of Silver City passed away peacefully at her home on November 11, 2023 surrounded by her family. 

Cremation has been entrusted to Baca’s Funeral Chapels.  A celebration of Michelle’s life will be at Six o’clock in the evening on Friday, November 17, 2023 at Baca’s Funeral Chapels.  Officiating will be Bishop William Perkins.

Michelle was born February 16, 1966 in Silver City to Arthur and Della Arellano.  Michelle had worked for Western New Mexico University at the Child Development Center.  She will be most remembered for her love cooking on the Bar-B-Que.   Bar-B-Queuing and having her family and friends over to enjoy a good meal and great times.  Besides loving to cook outdoors, she loved her country music, dressing up in her “bling” and putting on her favorite boots.  Michelle will be missed by all her knew and loved her.

Michelle is survived by her companion, Jessie Ramirez; her daughter, Krystal Estrada; her sister, Alma Arellano; stepchildren, Jeremy Artiaga, Teresa (Eric) Romano, Katherine Ramirez, and Jessie Ramirez Jr.; her step grandchildren, Riley and Gage Artiaga, A.Vicente and Leilani Romano, Belle Ramirez and Mia Ramirez.  Michelle was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Della.
