Nemie B. Pacheco

Nemie Pacheco, 86, longtime Deming resident and loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother entered eternal rest on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 18, 1936 in Riley, NM to Claudio and Telesfora Baca.

Visitation will begin Friday, May 12, 2023 from 9:30 to 10 o’clock in the morning at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be recited at 10 led by Rosa Borrego. The Funeral Mass will follow at 11 with Fr. Aloysius Orekie, Pastor officiating. As per her wishes cremation will follow at Baca’s Mimbres Crematory and she will be laid to rest Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 3 o’clock in the afternoon. Fr. Tom Smith will officiate the rite of committal and inurnment at Mountain View Cemetery.

Nemie is survived by her beloved husband of 68 years Ramon A. Pacheco; 3 sons, Ramon B. (Sandra) Pacheco, Ruben B. (Corina) Pacheco and Gilbert B. (Irene) Pacheco; 3 sisters, Celia Jaurequi, Terry (Damian) Padilla and Evelyn (Rudy) Armijo; 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and 4 siblings, Joe and Misais Baca, Sarita Barrios and Glares Mendoza.

Pallbearers will serve as Aron Klockgether, Ramon, Ruben James, Talyn, Anthony and Jaime Pacheco.
