NEVOLIN VIOLA STEVENSON, 91, resident of Deming passed away Wednesday October 18, 2023 in the comfort of her home.
Funeral services will be Wednesday October 25, 2023 at 10 o’clock in the morning at Baca’s Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ronnie Franzoy officiating. Concluding services and interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery.
Nevolin was born May 2, 1932 in Deming to AJ and Viola Sparks. She has been a Deming resident most all her life other than a short time when she resided in Arizona. Nevolin was a school bus driver during her time of employment.
She is survived by her sons, Samuel C. Pierce of Deming, Ronald Brent Pierce of Ellijay, Georgia and Alvin Jay Pierce of Covington, Virginia; her daughter Debbie Jo Green of Deming and her brother, David Sparks of Pahrump, Nevada; 6 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Jessie Fortenberry, Aline Frerich and Barbara Nielsen.
Pallbearers will be Sam Pierce, Steve Pierce, Thomas Pierce, Mark Pierce, James Green and Greg Hudson.
