Pabla Villa Esparza “Polly,” 81, lifelong resident of Deming passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022 at the home of her daughter, surrounded by her loving family.
A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 10 o’clock in the morning at The First Assembly of God Church. Final inurnment will take place at Mountain View Cemetery immediately after the services where she will be laid to rest with her husband, Tomas. Cremation has been entrusted to Baca’s Mimbres Crematory.
Polly was born November 11, 1941 in Deming to Leonios and Jovita (Holguin) Villa. Pabla was a very giving, loving, caring, and compassionate person. She served her community with such care and volunteered in many ways, including support with the VFW and their veterans, helping hands, food distribution, her church, and many others within her community. She was always willing to give her hands and heart to all who may needed her support or help. Pabla worked for the State of New Mexico as a clerk in the income support division for 35yrs and served as a substitute teacher. Pabla was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. She will truly be missed by her loving family and the many people she touched throughout her incredible life.
Survivors include her children, Thomas Esparza III of Las Cruces, Rachel E. Padilla, Paul (Rosie), Michael, Tomas Martin (Dayana Ayala), and Stephanie Esparza all of Deming; Mary Fahrenbruck of Las Cruces; siblings, Leonides H. (Olivia) Villa of San Antonio, TX, David (Rose Mary) Villa of Worland, WY, Yolanda (Glen) Willis of Deming and Hermelinda (Manuel) Barrera of Mesa, AZ; 22 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her spouse, Tom Esparza.
