Paul Matthew Radka

In Loving Memory of Paul Matthew Radka;  

Paul Matthew Radka, a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away at his home on March 27, 2025. Born on September 24, 1981, in Westminster, California, Paul was the youngest of six children and the beloved son of Ralph and Eva Radka.

Growing up in a bustling household alongside two sisters and three brothers, Paul quickly earned his stripes as the youngest sibling. This upbringing fostered in him a deep sense of affection and loyalty, particularly toward his nieces and nephews, whom he adored. With a generous heart he offered his kindness freely, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
As a competitive swimmer, Paul was a proud member of the Royal High School swim team. He graduated from Royal in 1999, remembered for his dedication and camaraderie. In 2004, he moved to Silver City, New Mexico, where he lived with his parents and worked in the community. For a time, Paul attended classes at the Western University of New Mexico. Paul’s presence brought a smile and peace wherever he went.
In this world Paul smiled more than most people, was more forgiving than most people, and was more gracious than most people. We all knew this. And now, we miss it more than ever.

Rest in peace, Paul. You will be dearly missed and forever loved.

Paul is survived by his mother, Eva Radka; his siblings, Suzie, Michael, Ralph, Gina, and David; his nieces and nephews; and his grand-nieces and grand-nephew.

A Memorial Service will be held at Baca's Funeral Chapel in Silver City on Monday, April 7, 2025 at one o'clock in the afternoon. Inurnment will follow at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Cemetery.
