Priscilla P. (Parra) Maynes

Priscilla P. Maynes, 82, lifelong resident of Deming passed away Friday, April 30, 2021 at her home.

Visitation will begin Monday, May 10, 2021 from 4 to 6 o’clock in the afternoon at Baca’s Funeral Chapel. Recitation of the holy rosary will begin at 6 led by Christine Milo. Graveside services with the rite of committal and interment will be held the following day at 10 o’clock in the morning at Mountain View Cemetery. Fr. Prakasham Babu will officiate. Covid-19 restrictions will apply.

Priscilla is survived by her children, 4 sons, Mike (Brieanna) Maynes of Safford, AZ, Ronald W. (Elizabeth) Maynes, Victor Maynes and Emmanuel Maynes all of Deming; 3 daughters, Cynthia Maynes Jordan of Houston, TX, Priscilla (John) Doarn and Paulette (Craig) Mulvaney both of Crosby, TX; 2 brothers, Miguel (Joanie) Parra and Paul Savage both of CA; 2 sisters, Consuelo Passineau and Eva Parra both of CA; 21 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Miguel and Lucille Parra; her husband, Hector “Gopher” Maynes; a daughter, Rhonda Lucero and a grandson, Lil Ron.

Serving as pallbearers will be Zeke Montoya, Xavier, Steve, Krystal, Damrie and Mark Maynes.
