Ralph Cruz Murillo

MURILLO: Ralph Cruz Murillo, 75, of Silver City, passed away Sept. 10, 2020. He was born Feb. 23, 1945, in Silver City to Espiredon “Espire” and Inocencia “Chencha” Murillo. He is survived by his mother and his partner of 31 years, Janet Perrault-Madrid; his sons, Randy Murillo (Lisa) and Alan Murillo; stepsons, Edmund Madrid (Wendy), Eric Madrid (Stephanie), Aaron Madrid (Victoria), and Michael Madrid (Kristen); 22 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; his siblings, David Murillo, Gilbert Murillo and Maryann Madrid; and very special friends, Sammy and Beatrice “Bee” Lopez. He was preceded in death by his father and siblings, Danny, Rudy and Patsy Murillo. Ralph worked carpentry his whole work life and had a passion for the outdoors, hunting, camping and fishing, and also enjoyed dancing. Once retired, he spent most of his time doing things and going places with his family. He will be tremendously missed by his family and all who knew him.  Cremation has been entrusted to Baca's Funeral Chapels.  Recitation of the Holy Rosary, led by Deacon Bill Holguin, will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at Baca’s Funeral Chapels.
