Ramon C. Arzola

Ramon C. Arzola 89, a resident of Silver City, NM entered eternal rest Thursday, July 2, 2020 in Glendale, AZ surrounded by his loved ones.

The Prayer Vigil and Rosary will take place on Friday, July 17, 2020 at ten o’clock in the morning at Baca’s Funeral Chapels in Silver City.  Officiating will be Deacon Bill Holguin.  At eleven o’clock in the morning, the Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Newman Center.  Concluding services and burial will follow at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Cemetery where he will be laid to rest with his wife, Leonor.  Officiating will be Father Bartholomew Ezenwelem.  Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Marquez, Dominic Marquez, Arlene Marquez, Uriah Gonzales, Bobby Gonzales and Adam Offutt.  Honorary Pallbearers are his remaining grandchildren and great grandchildren.

 He was born July 13, 1930 in Santa Rita, NM to Estanislado and Emilia Arzola.  He was a devout catholic and was deep in his faith. He enjoyed spending time with his family and taking road trips to visit family out of town. He worked for the mine as a mechanic for many years.  He had a great passion for working on cars for family and friends and anyone who needed help with their automobiles.He will be greatly missed by all his family and all who knew him.

He is survived by his daughters Lulu Marquez, Linda Vasquez (Rick), Anna Valenzuela (Jaime), Margaret Arzola-Lilly (Robin)  and his sons Arthur Arzola (Bertha), Ray Arzola a daughter/granddaughter Melissa Marquez-Gonzales (Bobby) 15 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren; a brother, Danny Arzola (Isabel) and sister-in-law Lily Arzola;  numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Leonor Arzola; son Ernie Arzola; his parents Estanislado and Emilia Arzola; his brothers Antonio & Ruben Arzola; sisters Manuela Alvarado & Sara Martinez; nephew Tony (Boy) Arzola.
