Randolph "Randy" Delfin

Randy Delfin, 76 of Santa Clara passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 20, 2024.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 22, 2024 from 5 pm to 6 pm followed by the Prayer Vigil and Rosary at 6 pm at Baca’s Funeral Chapels.  At Randy's request, cremation will take place.  The Funeral Liturgy will be on Friday, August 23, 2024 at 10 am at the Santa Clara Catholic Church.  Concluding service and burial of his ashes will be at the Santa Clara Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest next to his son, Randy, Jr.  Officiating will be Father Casmir Anozie.

Randy was born in Santa Rita on December 24, 1947 to Ramon and Aurora Delfin.  He attended St. Mary’s Catholic Schools and Silver Schools in Silver City where he resided most of his life.  Randy was well known by many when he worked at Bargain Annex and Home Furniture until his retirement in 2005.

Randy is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Rosie H. Delfin of the home; step-son Lawrence Salas; brother, Richard Delfin (Ida) of Albuquerque; sister, Barbara Rivera (Alvaro) of Silver City; sister-in-law, Rose Delfin also of Silver City; grandchildren, Adam Arzaga (Haley) of Arkansas, Angel Delfin of Silver City, Dominque Gomez (Nick) of Las Cruces, Andy Ray Delfin (Brittney) of Carlsbad and Samantha Rose (Rudy) of Las Cruces; all his nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his son, Randy Delfin Jr.; parents, Ramon and Aurora Delfin; brother, Ray Delfin Jr.; his in-laws, Dolores and Aurora Heredia.
