Raul Hill Medina

Raul H. Medina, 70 of Alamo, New Mexico passed away November 8, 2025 at University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque, NM

Visitation for Raul will be on Thursday, November 20, 2025 from 5 to 6 pm.  The Prayer Vigil and recitation of the Holy Rosary will follow at 6 pm led by Deacon Bill Holguin.  Cremation will take place and the Rite of Committal and inurnment will be on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 1 pm at Fort Bayard National Cemetery.

Raul was born May 5, 1955 in Curryville, Texas to Edward and Betty Medina.  He had served his country honorably in the United States Air Force as well as United States Army. Raul loved to spend time with his son Liam, fishing and he loved to teach and share his knowledge of self-defense. Raul mostly loved to be with his family who will miss him dearly.

Raul is survived by his daughter Sonya Arsola and husband Eric Arsola; grandkids, Ezekiel Torres, Ethaniel Torres, Estrella Torres and Erik Arizaga.  His great granddaughter Esperanza Torres.  Raul’s son, Liam Medina. He is also survived by his sisters Edna, Dolores, Brenda, Genevieve as well as his brothers Edward, Adam, Santos.
