Robert Arrey Casillas

Robert (Bobby) Arrey Casillas, a proud veteran of the US Army, 53, passed away on February 7, 2022 at his home in Albuquerque.

He was born to parents, Hector and Ida Casillas, on February 9, 1968.

Robert is survived by his only child, son Jory A. Casillas and his two children, Aria and Aella Casillas of Albuquerque, NM. He is also survived by his mother, Ida A. Casillas of Deming, NM; two brothers, Eddie Casillas and Jesse Escarcida , sister; Barbara Gonzales and her husband, Danny, all of Deming, NM, several nieces, nephews and his close friends who also cared for him. He was preceded in death by his father Hector, brother Jessie, one sister Patricia, maternal grandparents A.B and Louisa Arrey, and paternal grandparents Fernando and Ysabel Casillas.

Robert (Bobby) was known for his love of music and art. He loved genuinely, and was loved deeply. We take comfort in knowing that he is now at peace surrounded by light.

A graveside service will be Monday June 13, 2022 at 10 o’clock in the morning at the Mt. View Cemetery Columbarium.  Officiating will be Andy Gonzales.
