Rosemary Aguilar Gutierrez, 67, resident of Deming earned her wings on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, after living with cancer for nearly a year and a half. Her husband, two children and two sisters, Mary Lou Valenzuela and Christine Rivera, were by her side as her beautiful soul left for a new adventure. She was surrounded by love and we know she was met in Heaven with loving arms by her parents and siblings who went before her.
Rosemary Aguilar Gutierrez was born September 22, 1954 in Deming to Juan and Ramona Aguilar. The family moved to Southern California in 1965 and it is there that Rosemary attended school, graduating from Artesia High School in 1973. Rosemary met Joe Gutierrez in 1977 and they were married on May 21st of that same year. They welcomed their son, David in 1980 and their daughter, Amanda Jo, in 1984. Rosemary was very caring, loving and always up for adventure. She was kind and selfless, always willing to give the shirt off her back to someone in need, or even if that someone just mentioned that they liked it. Rosemary spent decades working with young children and it was her passion. She touched the lives of so many in California and New Mexico and made a positive impact to everyone she encountered. She retired in Deming with her loving husband of 46 years and continued her work with children.
Rosemary will be remembered with fondness, gratitude and love. She gets what she gave, and she gave so much to so many. REST IN ETERNAL PEACE, ROSEMARY GUTIERREZ. Cremation has been entrusted to Baca’s Mimbres Crematory.
