Rosendo C. Solis

Rosendo C. Solis, 57, Deming resident lost his fight with cancer on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. 

Visitation will begin Friday, September 10, 2021 from 9:30 to 10 o’clock in the morning at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Recitation of the holy rosary will be recited at 10 by Gloria Milo. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 with the rite of committal and interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Fr. Jesus Martinez will officiate.

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Rachel (Sanchez) Solis of the home; his parents, Epifanio and Nicanora Solis; 2 stepdaughters, Irene Alicia (Lawrence Zumwalt) Pacheco and Adela Beatriz Pacheco; 8 siblings, Rafael, Enedelia, Andres, Epifanio, Alejandro, Victor, Lourdes and Norma Solis; 7 grandchildren, Sergio Andres Gonzales (Alexis Muñoz) , Alissandra Yanette (Angel) Rodriguez, Ezequiel Marco Gonzales (Rosalya Padilla), Oscar Enrique Barba, Madelyn Lillian Barba, Mia Jacqueline Sanchez and Dominic Eli Peyton Pacheco; 2 great-grandchildren, Antonio Xavier Rodriguez and Jayden Andres Gonzales; as well as many extended family and friends.

Rosendo is proceeded in death by a brother, Humberto Solis.

Serving as pallbearers will be Sergio Andres and Ezequiel Marco Gonzales, Paul Garcia Jr., Danny Milo Jr., Victor, Andres and Alejandro Sr. Solis and Dominic Eli Peyton Pacheco.

Honorary bearers will be Ramon Sanchez and Gloria Milo, his football buddies, the rest of the Sanchez brothers, Alfonso and Laura Anguiano and their family, his co-workers at the Luna County Road Department, and everyone else that helped during his illness.
