Rosie (Heredia) Delfin

Rosie Delfin, born on April 7, 1951, in Santa Rita, left this world peacefully January 6, 2025. 

Visitation will take place at five o’clock in the evening on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Baca’s Funeral Chapel in Silver City. A Recitation of the Holy Rosary led by Dr. Gilbert Arizaga will follow at six o’clock. In accordance with Rosie’s wishes, cremation will follow. The Memorial Mass will be held at ten o’clock in the morning on Friday, January 24, 2025 at Santa Clara Catholic Church in Santa Clara. The Rite of Committal and Inurnment will follow at Santa Clara Cemetery. Father Ephraim Ezulike will officiate. 

Rosie was a beacon of love and strength for all who knew her and will be deeply missed by her family and friends. As a devoted mother to her son Lawrence, Rosie poured every ounce of herself into nurturing him with unwavering support and affection. Rosie's legacy extends beyond motherhood; she was an extraordinary sister to Lucy, Josie, Rita, Marion, Peggy, Tita, and Laura. The bond they shared was unbreakable. She also cherished her brothers: Martin, Larry, Lolo Jr., and Johnny. Their sibling connection was ever so strong. Throughout her life, Rosie embodied kindness always ready to lend an ear or offer words of encouragement when needed most.
In addition to being a loving wife a role she embraced wholeheartedly Rosie cultivated deep friendships throughout the years that enriched both her life and those around her.
Though our hearts ache at losing such an incredible soul too soon the impact Rosie made on our lives cannot be measured by time alone but rather by love shared among us all and we are eternally grateful for having known such an amazing woman, wife and mother.
