Ruben Garcia Obituary

Ruben Amador Garcia went to be with the Lord, just one week from his 90^th birthday on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 in Silver City, NM.

Ruben, was youngest of seven children, born and raised in Rincon, NM. He married the love of his life, Priscilla, whom he affectionately called “Mi Vida” and they moved to Hurley New Mexico following a job with the then Tyrone Plant and retiring from Kennecott after 25 years of service. Ruben was a parishioner of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Ruben could be seen daily picking up around his yard and spending his time running errands or traveling with Priscilla.

Preceding him in death are: Victor Avilucea (Son), Ruth Avilucea (Daughter-In-Law). Siblings... Ramon, Jesus, Arturo, Felipa, Peggy and Elsie. Parents; Alejandro Garcia and Donaciana Amador

Survivors include Priscilla Garcia of the family home and several nieces and nephews.
