Ruth Ann P Candelaria

Ruth Ann Candelaria, 64, formerly of Deming entered eternal rest Tuesday July 20, 2021 at Casa de Oro in Las Cruces.

A private burial will take place at Mountain View Cemetery.

Ruth Ann was born September 6, 1956 to Magdalena Pacheco and Henry Candelaria in Deming. She attended the Deming Public Schools and enjoyed baking alongside her mother; she baked the best cookies and was also known for selling frozen cups to many people that lived near their home.  Ruth made friends easily, she was very kind and had a great sense of humor.

She lived at Sunshine Haven in Lordsburg for 17 years before their closing leading her to relocate to Casa de Oro in Las Cruces for the last 2 years. Ruth volunteered at the Senior Center and one of her favorite pastimes was Bingo. She will be remembered for her caring and loving ways that she expressed to everyone that crossed her path.

Ruth is survived by her brother, Paul (Rhonda) Palomares of Deming; nephew, Paul Michael Palomares; nieces, Janelle and Tiffany Palomares; 2 special cousins who also were her caregivers, Lillian Rodriguez and Sue Garcia; extended family members and 2 best friends, Olga and Linda.

She has now joined her parents, Henry and Magdalena Candelaria and in the hands of her Maker.
