Ryanlee Grijalva Padilla, 34, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023, in Pettus, Texas.
Ryan was born in Silver City, New Mexico to Harvey L. and Martha Grijalva Padilla. Words cannot convey the level of interests Ryan had, and the depth of what Ryan designed or modified in projects. When Ryan moved to Texas in 2014, he began working in drafting and design creating logos for businesses in Houston and designing mall kiosks in many cities throughout the country. He loved working with AutoCAD and other software programs that developed 3D designs for small structures. Ryan loved to study minerals and materials. He had an impressive tool collection which he applied to his talent of working on vehicles, diesel equipment and motorcycles, also fabricated and modified machinery. He had a passion for learning about physics, the sciences, and geography. He also enjoyed reading about biographies of notable historical figures, events in history, the history of music and musicians, movies, sports, and comic books just to mention a few of Ryan’s many interests. Ryan really enjoyed being around his closest family and friends, admired his grandparents very much and loved his brothers and cousins. Ryan was a very spontaneous and unpredictable individual. With Ryan, there was always laughter around the corner and could light up a room with his humor. Ryan will be remembered for his creative way of making people laugh, his wit, charm, work ethic, and for the unique and original qualities that made up Ryan’s character.
Ryan is survived by his eight cats, his mother, Martha G. Padilla; father, Harvey L. Padilla; his brother, Dustin G. Padilla; cousins Levi and Luke Gomez; his good friend Whit Garcia, who looked up to Ryan like a big brother. Ryan is also survived by his cousins Alyson Gomez, Kayla Miranda, Matthew Nevarez and William Padilla, who closely grew up with Ryan; his grandmother, Hortencia Grijalva; grandparents, Tony and Carole Padilla; and, other cousins, aunts, uncles on both sides of the family.
