Samuel David Morales

(Samuel) David Morales, 51 of Florence, Alabama, formerly of Silver City, was called to the Lord July 14, 2020 in Florence, Alabama.

Cremation has taken place.  A memorial service to celebrate his life will be at ten o’clock on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Baca’s Funeral Chapels.  His cremated remains will be placed in The Rose Garden at Memory Lane Cemetery.

Samuel was born May 11, 1969, in Silver City, NM to Samuel and Frances Morales. Anyone that knew David or worked with him thought of him as a kind person and knew he was ready to help you with anything. If you weren’t family, he thought of you as family. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and Los Angeles Angels. It didn’t matter if they won or lost, he was their biggest fan.

 He is survived by one sister, Kimberly and husband Danny Roybal of Mimbers. Nephews, Brandon Morales of Midland, Texas; Steven (Victoria) Roybal and family of Mimbres; Daniel (Monica) Roybal and family of Silver City.  His second family and very dear friends, Fausto (Pricilla) Sims and their son, Brayden of Nashville, TN.  Lots of uncle and aunts and cousins.

Samuel was preceded in death by both his parents Sam and Frances Morales, and one step nephew, Josiah Roybal.
