Steven Christopher Flores

Steven C. Flores, 41, went home to be with our Lord Jesus on Sunday May 2^nd, 2021 in Las Cruces, NM.  Steven passed into eternal life peacefully with his loving family surrounding him at his bedside.

Visitation will take place on Thursday May 13^th, 2021 at 5 to 6 pm at Baca’s Funeral Chapel with the rosary recital to follow at 6:00 pm with Dr. Gilbert Arizaga reciting. The celebration of life service will take place on Friday May 14^th, 2021 at 11 am St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Silver City, NM with his brother, Father Raymond Flores officiating. Burial will take place immediately after the service at the St Vincent De Paul Catholic Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Eddie Flores, Benny Flores, Anthony Flores, Eric Wilmeth, Edward Flores IV, Chuck Flores, Robert Carrasco, James Begay and Ruben Udero.Honorary pallbearers will be Frank Montes and Dave Warnack.

Steven was born on October 16^th, 1979 in Silver City, NM to Eduardo (Henry) and Lucille Flores. Steven was the youngest of seven children and has an older twin brother, Anthony. Steven had a heart of gold and was a loving husband, father, son, brother and was an especially great and generous uncle to all of his beloved nieces and nephews. Steven enjoyed spending time working and painting cars. He also enjoyed spending time cutting wood with his older brothers and he especially enjoyed taking his family out to eat a delicious meal at any one of his favorite restaurants. Steven really enjoyed spending time with his son, Little Robert, and shared a special bond with him. Steven was very selfless and no matter what the cause was, he always helped his nieces and nephews with everything and anything they may have wanted or needed. Steven’s love, smile, and laugh and humor will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Steven is survived by his wife of 13 years, Natalie Coleman; his son, Little Robert; his mother Lucille Flores of Silver City, NM;  his brothers Eddie Flores (Emmarie), Benny Flores (Dina) Anthony Flores (Lou), Raymond Flores of Chicago, Illinois and sister Margaret Begay (James) of Silver City, NM. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Alyssa Carrasco, Amanda Gonzalez, Sabrina Lopez, Alexis Flores, Suzette and Maggie Flores, and Gabby, Emmy, Jade and Sage Begay. His nephews, Eric Wilmeth, Edward Flores IV and Chuck Flores.

Steven is also survived by numerous uncles and aunts and cousins and numerous great nephews and nieces.   Steven is also survived by his father and mother-in-law, Charles and JoAnn Coleman of Florida and two sisters in laws, Melonie Coleman and Valerie Montoya.

He is proceeded in death by his father, Eduardo (Henry) Flores, his brother Robert J. Flores and both sets of grandparents.
