1952 and married Willis (Wart) Walter on May 17th, 1952. They moved to the ranch. In December of that same year, Wart went into the army and Sylvia stayed with her parents, who had moved to Ohio where her Dad
was the County Superintendent and her mother taught. Sylvia worked at Packard Electric in Warren, Ohio. Then moved with Wart to Ft. Smith, Arkansas and then to Ft. Eustis, Virginia. When Warts army obligation was done they returned to Animas in 1954. In 1957 their first son, Randy was born, then 7 years later Bill in ’64 and Warren in ’65.
