Toby was born on February 6, 1992 to Barbara Vasquez and Orlando Vigil Jr. and raised in Silver City.  He will be remembered as an amazing father, son, brother, uncle and friend to all.  Toby was an outspoken young man and had no problem speaking his mind.  He loved to draw and was an incredible artist and his favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys.  Toby knew everything there was to know about guns and loved taking them apart and putting them back together and was known as the family gunsmith.  He enjoyed spending time outdoors whether it was fishing, shooting guns or taking rides out to Pinos Altos to his favorite spots out in the mountains.  Toby loved listening to music, playing video games and four-wheeling in his truck with his brothers, nephews, nieces and friends by his side.  Toby’s partner in crime was his pitbull Homer and they were inseparatable.

Toby is survived by his daughter, Krystal Makayla Vigil; son, Micheal “Gunner” Vigil; mom, Barbara Vasquez; father, Orlando Vigil, Jr. (Grace); sister, Bobbie Jo Vasquez; brothers, Orlando Vigil III, Avel Rios (Audrie), Joseph Jacobs and Joseph Ortiz; sister-in-law, Sonya Vigil; maternal grandmother, Olivia Vasquez; paternal grandmother, Cecilia Vigil; nieces, Angelica, Bianca, Nevaeh and Amiyah; nephews, Andres, Richard III, Orlando IV, Bruce, Matthew, Justin, Lito and Zion; aunt Jan; “Nina” Rita and uncle Elias, Nino Steve Ybarra, uncle Dofi, aunt Irene, aunt Gena, uncle Meme, aunt Cindy, aunt Brenda, uncle Brian; many cousins, Gary Peru, Brian Sr., LBS, Deanna, Santi, Nadia, Neela, Lizzy, Janessa, Abelia Vasquez.  Toby will be dearly missed by many more cousins and friends.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Robert “Bobby” Vasquez; uncle Manuel “Boots” Vasquez; paternal grandfather, Orlando Vigil Sr; uncle, Gary Vigil.
