Trinidad Hinojos

Trinidad Hinojos Chavez, 91, longtime Deming resident passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at Mimbres Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family.

Visitation will begin Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 9 to 10 o’clock in the morning at Baca’s Funeral Chapel where the Holy Rosary is set to be recited at 10 led by Maria Lozano. The Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church with the rite of committal to commence at Mountain View Cemetery. Fr. Francis Gyau, Pastor will be officiating.

Trinidad was born February 10, 1933 in Huejotitan, Chihuahua, Mexico to Trinidad Hinojos and Josefa Chavez. Trinidad was a hard worker and worked as a farmer for many years. He worked very hard to provide for the family he cared so much for. Trinidad loved all his family very much and had a very special love for his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by his many family members and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Aurora Hinojos; his children, Josefa R. Hinojos, Lorenzo (Rufina) Hinojos, Rosita Hinojos, Mario (Goretti) Hinojos, Graciela (Chris) Jasso, Blas Hinojos, and Jesus (Martha) Hinojos; his 26 grandchildren and his 22 great-grandchildren. Trinidad is preceded in death by his parents and 9 other siblings.

Serving as Trinidad’s pallbearers will be Lorenzo Hinojos, Mario Hinojos, Blas Hinojos, Jesus Hinojos, Cedric Hinojos, Ricky Hinojos, Lenchito Hinojos & Alex Gomez.
