Wanda (Adair) Mullins

Wanda Irene Mullins, while surrounded by her family, passed away on May 7, 2024 in Rio Rancho, NM.  Wanda was born to Violet and Clements Adair on September 2, 1934, in Pinetop, AZ.

Wanda was passionate about sharing the love of our Lord with others.  After accepting Jesus and being Baptized as a young adult, she prioritized participation in the Church of Christ.  A loyal servant of God, Wanda was dedicated to studying the Bible and sponsored several children through the Christian Relief Fund.  Wanda played guitar and was happiest when all the family would get together and play and sing.

Wanda is predeceased by:  husband, Verdos Ervin Mullins; daughter, Kim Loree Chadborn; brothers and sisters: Edgar, Kenneth, Goldie, Virginia, Mavis, Guy and Majorie; and Granddaughters: Mary and Amanda. Her son, Charlie Mullins, entered eternal rest on June 13, 2024. Wanda is survived by her sister, Shirley; Children: Ronald Mullins (Sheri) and Dorothy Callahan (John); several Grandchildren, Great-great Grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

John 11: 25-26 “Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life.  The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die”.

Wanda missed Verdos terribly.  She was ready to see him.  He was the love of her life.  Wanda often dreamed of seeing Verdos, health, young and strong again.  Wanda’s last wish was for the “Angels to carry me home”.

 Now that Wanda has passed into the arms of our Lord her physical life on earth is over but it is the beginning of an eternal and beautiful journey for her.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place.

A Memorial Service will be held for Wanda, Verdos and their son, Charlie at ten-thirty in the morning on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Baca's Funeral Chapel in Silver City. Concluding Services and Inurnment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery in Silver City. Mr. Ron Mullins will officiate.
