William “Bill” F. Looker, 60, a longtime resident of Lordsburg passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Gila Regional Medical Center in Silver City.
A graveside service will take place on Friday, March 28, 2025 at 11 o’clock in the morning at Mountain View Cemetery in Lordsburg, New Mexico.
Bill was born on December 16, 1964 in Deming, New Mexico to Paul Looker and Linda Hill. Bill was a man of many talents and could repair just about anything. He excelled in fabricating, auto mechanic work, and especially in welding. With his many talents Bill was always willing to lend a hand to his many family members and friends. He also was a mentor to many and teaching them all the tricks of the trade. Bill also enjoyed listening to music, trapping, fishing, hunting, having some tequila with his friends and most importantly spending time with his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Sheila Looker; his 2 sons, Dustin (Nickie Beach) Looker and Johnny (Secret Gilpin) Looker; 2 siblings, John Looker, and Lisa Bahringer, as well as his 13 grandchildren, Jeremiah, Kassi, Sabrie, Kai, Kota, Jaxon, Mason, Zae, Ethan, Keyaria, Baylee, Andrew, and Amie Lee. He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul, and Linda Looker; his grandparents, Fielder and Addoline Hill and Bill and Beatrice Looker; his father-in-law, Jimmie McCants, and his uncles, Eddy Looker, Leroy Chopel, and WP Hill.
