Yvette "India" Elizabeth Chacon

Yvette Elizabeth Chacon "India", 59, of Hurley passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Gila Regional Medical Center. Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Baca's Funeral Chapels.

India was born February 15, 1964 in Anaheim, California to Alvino Saborio and Teresa Benavidez Chacon.

A Graveside Service and Inurnment will take place at eleven o'clock in the morning on Friday, November 3, 2023 at the Santa Clara Cemetery in Santa Clara, NM. Deacon Richard Rodriguez will officiate.

Honorary Pallbearers are Viola Ogas, Vicky Garcia, Amy Montes, Denise Chacon, Terry Humble, and Nikki from the Cancer Center.

India is survived by her mother, Teresa Chacon; brothers, Ray and Dennis Chacon; two nieces, Nichole and Jennifer; two nephews, Ray Chacon Jr. and Dymond Chacon; aunt Stella De la Torre; and numerous cousins.

She is preceded in death by her father, Alvino S. Chacon; her grandma, Jenny; aunt, Deedee; and uncle David Muñoz.
